Portrait of Nino Sanaya
Nino Sanaya

Her creative vision is deeply influenced by the Mediterranean — particularly Greece, where the light, architecture, and effortless elegance of coastal life continue to inspire the spirit of the brand. Through Nino Liani, she brings together European sophistication, meticulous craftsmanship, and a modern vision of femininity.

Nino Liani is a New York–based fashion house founded by designer Nino Sanaya, whose work is defined by refined tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and couture craftsmanship. Born in Georgia, Nino developed an early appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and timeless style.

The collection was created following one of Nino’s journeys to Greece, where the island Hydra marked the final chapter of her solo trip. Long a sanctuary for painters, musicians, writers, and poets, the island carries a quiet creativity that settles into the landscape as naturally as light on stone. The sculpture of the Sun by Jeff Koons on Hydra, patient and ancient, rises above a sea that has measured time for millions of years, its calm not softness but a complete and quiet strength. This collection translates that feeling — ethereal yet grounded, effortless yet lasting — never forced, yet impossible to forget. Designed to hold a balance of power and softness, of light, depth, and quiet mysticism that Hydra leaves behind.
